The deeds are based on authentic worship and emulation, which is based on the valid purpose and good deeds according to its Islamic purpose without excess or negligence. This shows how significant it is to follow the righteous people which aims to reach self-righteousness by doing righteous deeds according to terms that are consistent with the objectives of the Sharia, whereby the emulation of the righteous is achieved. The emulation of the righteous people in Islamic jurisprudence depends on the mandatory rulings of the person, and the basic principle therein is related to the Sharia directive regarding absolute worship and permissibility in the absolute custom. Therefore, the Muslim has the choice to do it or leave it as the mandatory rulings deal with him according to the degree of emulation of what is subject to emulation. Likewise, this emulation is not absolutely permissible in the obligatory and recommended issues but rather is restricted to the restriction of the Sharia. It should not contradict the shariah rulings or an apparent error in which it is not permissible to emulate another Muslim in it. Applying these terms, the significance of the Sharia rulings are manifested when emulating the example of the righteous people.
